There
are two ways that you can get your pictures ready to
upload to
your
website. The best way is to optimize your
pictures, if you don't know
how
to do this we have a program that we will give you
called
Photo
Impact 6 that allows you to do with one click and
save. You can
also
just resize your picture to a 300 x 225 and then upload
(like below).
Note:
Optimizing your picture allows your pictures to load
very quickly
when
the public views your vehicles. Once you learn this you
will see that
this
is not only the easiest but the best way to do pictures.

How
to resize your picture to
a 300 X 225 approx. The way you
do
this is very simple.
You use the program that came with your camera.
Open your program and go to file and locate your
picture,
click
on picture and bring up in your program. Somewhere
on
top
menu there should be a box called (resize, resample or
image
information)
Click on that and you should have a box that has the
size
of
your current picture something like (640 X 480) all you
do
is click on the larger number (640) and change to (300)
the
other number should change automatically to be close to
225,
if it is a little more or less that is OK. Make sure
that
the
box marked (keep aspect ratio) is checked. Then you
save
like you usually do. You might want to rename the
picture
the first few times and then go check what size it is.
After
you get use to it then you can just replace the first
picture
that you have with the new.
If your picture is(squashed) then you did not check the
box
(keep
aspect ratio).
You must remember that you can not load two
pictures
that have the same name, I recommend that you
add
your initials to the number on the picture, that way
nobody
else will have the same name picture. When you
upload
the picture and a window comes up telling you
that
the picture already exists, then you have to change the
name
of the picture. If you hold your mouse over the picture
it
should tell you what size it is, or you can right click
on the
picture
and go to properties, you want your picture to
be
around (30kb, 30,000b)
